To Dos Day

___ Item 1: TRIP OUT...
...on this Actresspalooza. (via FABULON)

___ Item 2: REVIEW THE WONDERMENT...
...of The William Wyler Blogathon. Congrats, goatdog, on a job well and thoughtfully done...

___ Item 3: CHECK BACK...
...for a shocking new twist on the Homo Heritage Fridays feature. Beginning this week, StinkyLulu will commence a sequence of weekly Homo Heritage posts that contemplate the connections between homo heritage and "actressexuality." Check back on Friday for the first installment...

___ Item 4: GET A LOAD OF...
...who StinkyLulu'll be "performing" with (in a big and fancy academented lecture/performance schtick) next week. I's a little skeered...

___ Item 5: HOLLER...
..."Black man! Black man!" in honor of the passing of the beloved Alice Ghostley who Lu's loved ever since the days of Bewitched and Grease, but who truly found a permanent place in Lulu's heart when she played "fruitcake" Bernice Clifton on StinkyLulu's favorite teevee show ever (clip 1 and clip 2).

___ Item 6: PLEASE NOTE...
...that, as of this week, I've decided I want Meryl Streep, Joan Chen, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Vanessa Redgrave and Cate Blanchett to be nominated for Best Supporting Actress 2007. I haven't seen any of the movies. I don't care. That's what I want. So there. Who do you want, lovely reader, to receive a nomination? And, better still, do you have any idea who you'll be writing about in the 2nd Annual Supporting Actress Blogathon? (It'll be happening on January 6, 2007 - save the date!) So spill't -- who're you leaning toward for the most important category of the night?...

Have at it, lovelies...

Hm... Saoirse Ronan, Saoirse Ronan, Saoirse Ronan, Saoirse Ronan, and Saoirse Ronan. That sounds about right.

I've hardly seen ANYTHING this year, let alone one that would warrant a blog-a-thon appearance ... Maybe I'll see some Oscar bait over Christmas.

If nothing changed between now and New Year's, I'd probably write about Sidse Babett Knudsen in After the Wedding.

But something always changes, doesn't it?

i have no idea. i feel curiously ignorant on this category this year. maybe because the best or most probable possibilities seem like cameos or leads and in my own awards i have other categories for that.

anywho. can't wait. it was so fun last year
