TacoChick & SalsaGirl: On The Menu To Save The World

Since it seems -- in the last 24 hours -- that both StinkyLulu & ModFab have hit the sublime nostalgia wall that is ElectraWoman & DynaGirl, and since it's the season of LGBT film festivals, and since Lulu's all about sharing the love...

Attention!
ElectraWoman & DynaGirl fans!

Be on the lookout for what might be the most brilliant parody of (& homage to) the inanity of ElectraWoman & DynaGirl...

As StinkyLulu noted back in September '05:
And -- without doubt -- the prize of StinkyLulu's favorite short gay film ever (or at least since Monday) goest to Kurt Koehler's freakin'ilarious Taco Chick and Salsa Girl.... Mexicamp queerness at its finest: Oscar Quintero (as "Kay Sedia") and J.P. Torres (as "Anita Nacho") are simply brilliant in the title roles -- the whole production reminiscent of a latin episode of StinkyLu's favorite teevee show (& lunchbox) circa 1977: ElectraWoman & DynaGirl.
It's real real good. (Unfortunately not yet available on DVD.) But yeah -- Barbie & Ken as the evil agents of white supremacy, tasty Mexican food instigating superpowers, hunky thugs, great outfits, ditzy sidekicks, cheesetastic theme song on perpetual repeat -- what better adaptation could there be?

Be on the lookout for Taco Chick and Salsa Girl at a film festival near you!

Did I tell you my new drag name? Delores de Cabeza. I think it's apt.
