wow, fun fun fun! :)

these are very interesting and quite different movies: you've got the intellectual auteur comedy (Husbands and Wives), the European excuse for pornography (Damage), the British bashful costume drama (Howards End), the second-rate-Howards-End (Enchanted April), what, it even says so on the poster :) , and the typical blockbuster comedy (My Cousin Vinny).

p.s.: Nick AND Nathaniel? should we blame Marisa for this happy reunion? :D

I *might* be able to take part. I've seen three of the films recently enough to remember them and I think I can get the other two from the library so as not to fuck up the flow of my Netflix queue.

YAY ON THE NICK NATHANIEL REUNION

Ooh, I would love to come back and play too. Would that be an insanely full smackdown? If so, count me in for June!

We had 10 for 2008 and it was ok. I'll be willing to push a little higher for this one to see how it goes, but I will likely need to push the deadline up one day to do so.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the judges have to offer :) I haven't seen Enchanted April, so this is a good excuse to rent it and see how magnificent Joan Plowright is.
