I just didn't like Davison and Hershey in the roles. Burns maneuvered the age distance well, but I felt Davison and Hershey didn't, even when covering less distance. (Indeed, I would LOVE to see this story approached with age congruent actors -- say, Dakota Fanning as Sandy and Abigail Breslin as Rhoda?)
